Given the systematic analysis of legislation of criminal procedure of Ukraine, procedural literature as well as practice, the authors studied secret investigation (search) actions as a means of proof in criminal proceedings in pre-trial investigation. Theoretical and practical issues of secret investigation (search) actions and application of findings thereof in proof are studied. Science-based proposals for the solution thereof are made.
